We saw the eatery being showcased on TV and immediately wanted to visit and enjoy the same dishes as on the program, more specifically the Fajitas.
We went on Sunday 10 Dec around 3pm for a late afternoon lunch and drinks. Maybe it was our timing or maybe they were about to close, but the service was terrible. We waited very long for our drinks order to be brought to the table.
So the menu changed and no longer offered Fajitas. The waiter (to his credit) then offered a Fajita at the same ingredients as one of their Tacos.
The food took even longer , and we were one of two tables in the place , not sure how slow they will be when it is full.
The food was bland and mediocre for a Mexican/Texan style. The best part of the meal was an off-the-shelve sauce accompanying the meal.
The burger was poor, Fajitas very average and the Tacos average.
We decided to raise this with whomever wanted to listen but was left stranded at the table. Only when we stood up to leave I got the attention of the waiter to eventually pay our bill.
It is a pity, the way the place looked on the TV program and our experience was MUCH different from the TV program.
I am sure the atmosphere gets better with more people.
The cleanliness of the place also left a bit to be desired.
Anyway, we as a family will stick to the old trusted brand names for our Sunday lunches where standards and service are kept to an acceptable level whether Sunday or Monday or any day or time for that matter.
