Very arrogant people to deal with. I had to relocate from Alberton to Willow Park Manor and needed a rental. Found something I liked and signed a year lease. Planned my move with a removalist from JHB that uses standard trucks and paid the R8950 for the move on the Wednesday. The Friday prior to that, I found out there is restricted access to the complex with a height restriction boom of 2.4 m and a 3.5T weight restriction and no trucks allowed on site as per attached photis. The truck apparantly needs to park outside on the street and everything needs to be loaded onto bakkies that had to be paid for extra to come from JHB. The unit is at least 300m from the road. This was never brought to my attention that it’s difficult to move furniture into the property as no trucks allowed on site. The Body Corporate Rules which are registered at the Title Deeds Office, however, clearly state that large trucks for furniture removal ARE allowed in the complex. Geyer requested this info from Suzelle Badenhorst,
Senior Portfolio Manager from Proadmin who failed to explain how this works. I had no positive feedback from Geyer Verhurings or Proadmin in this regard and feel they did not handle this in a professional manner. Proadmin did not give the correct information through to Geyer and doesn’t want to take any responsibility for my loss. The bad customer service from Suzelle is shocking in that regard as she stated that they do not deal with third party customers.
