Very expensive ,poor customer service

Phoned a few places for a quote, them being one of them, decided to use them as the quote was reasonable out of the 6 places I phoned , get their ” Oh that price is excluding ( vat ) ” was very annoyed, there is a sign in the workshop that states prices exclude vat, but if you phone for a quote how are you supposed to Know that, if you are not told, never have I ever been quoted something without vat, strangest thing ever to me, the price you quote should be what one pays. So got there, had no other choice to pay the extra money I was not prepared or informed about, as I chose them from the quotes, went there, took time off ect . I expected that when i phone for a quote, to be told what it would be all inclusive, not to be tricked.
