There was a weird experience when we were there waiting for the food to come. Out of nowhere, an Indian guy (a neat and well-dressed guy) came and asked whether we were the owners of the restaurant or what. He introduced himself as “Pandit Ji” (he showed us his name card) and asked if we were interested in palm reading, fortune telling, and stuff. We said, Sorry, we aren’t interested in such things. I thought he would leave us after that, but no, he ended up asking for some donations. Unfortunately, we don’t have any cash to give. Then he said, How about buying him food? . So time passed, and I was asking him where he stayed. He said Rosebank. Imagine, staying in Rosebank, seeking a donation all the way to Centurion, and not having money to get food And the more ridiculous part is that he was saying that next year he’s heading to the UK.
Tbh, I’m not sure what was going through his head. I asked him what his “actual” name was. Finally, he said “Shivam”.
Anyway, apart from that, the food we ordered was nice. It was Lamb Kebab and Butter chicken; both were bunny chow. The food was spicy, and HUGE! Value for money ????
The restaurant is very small and tucked away in a corner of the Centurion area.
