We have just returned from our mind-blowing trip to Uganda. This trip was a long-time dream and it lived up to all expectations and so much more! Sanel and her team made sure every little detail was taken care of so that we could just enjoy the breathtaking beauty of Uganda. Silver, our guide from Around Africa Safaris in Uganda, was knowledgeable, extremely helpful and just a pleasure to be with. We loved the variety the trip offered: Lake Victoria, Mabamba swamps, Kibale Forrest,Oueen Elizabeth National Park, Kazinga Channel and Bwindi. Absolutely bucket list trip we will never forget!

My third trip with eXplore Plus and this time to Rwanda. What an experience! All our “out of the box requests” were met with a smile and executed to perfection – from riding the local motor cycles to dress making to having a beer in the local pubs! What an experience. And the main attraction, what can I say about the gorillas, awesome and amazing creatures! Till next time, thank you eXplore Plus for making dreams come true.

When you decide to embark on a “bucket list” vacation, the expectations are high. eXplore Plus Travel & Tours not only met our expectations but exceeded them by far. From the enquiry stage through to the booking, arrangements, requested changes, add-ons, questions and the like, nothing was too much trouble. We just completed the September Migration Safari to Central and Northern Serengeti with an add on to Zanzibar. What a memorable trip! We had the best time with exceptional, knowledgeable tour guides who ensure each member of the group is well looked after and the guides are ethical in their approach to the wildlife in the area. We were fortunate to witness a variety of wildlife, big and small, with the added bonus of four Mara River crossings in two days, a sighting that is not always guaranteed. To the eXplore Plus Team, thank you for the memories!

I had the most wonderful experience in Africa thanks to eXplore Travel and Naomi. My brief was to visit Cape Town, Travel on the Rovos Train, visit Victoria Falls and Botswana. Because I was on my own I wanted to be SAFE. Naomi followed up with a fantastic itinerary. Thanks to HERMANUS SHUTTLE, AUTHENTIC SHUTTLE AND TOURS, ROVOS RAIL, PALM RIVER HOTEL, SHEARWATER ADVENTURES, MACKAIR (for allowing me to be co pilot) and ROOTS AND JOURNEYS. Special thanks to staff on the Rovos train, Lourens Erasmus, and NoNo at Mopiri Camp and Lucky at Palm River Hotel. I have so many images to go through and will upload more of my trip when finnished. It is very, very special to be in the Okavango Delta and stay in Camps (my camps were Mmadinare and Splash) so that you stay in contact with nature throughout. The staff was super-friendly and always ready to satisfy you as a client. The guides really knew their job, identifying the whereabouts of animals by tracks and birds’ alarm, etc. The overall coordination between camps and flights was perfect. I lived many years in Africa, but I still saw scenes which I never saw before (fight of 2 male hippos, bird colonies, a giant lizard, …). Game drives are meditation, you concentrate on looking for animals and observing them – and you are forgetting the rest of the world. A truly extraordinary experience.
