Date 19 November 2022 Saturday at 8:15am, Was my first time visiting Wildman in Centurion, I found the staff very unfriendly especially the older gentleman behind the counter in the reloading section, he was not enthusiastic to help myself and my son at all, complained to us not to touch certain reloading machines! If so why not place a sign do not touch.Due to experience this morning I will not be supporting any Wildman shop in the future and especially not the Centurion branch.Your staff need to become far more customer friendly and helpful and then you will have more sales and customer satisfaction.
Disappointed.
The shop is beautiful! But my experience with the staff was bad. I wanted to, and still want to like this place.. I had literally waited months for my next trip to Gauteng to try it out but I would need to deal with the staff and I don’t want to.
Granted not all of them are probably like this but my experience with two of them made me want to leave. I had not even spoken a word to the one guy sitting a few meters away when he made a demeaning and rude comment about me to his colleague I was speaking to.
I had come to look at a few items properly after having researched to narrow my search before I make a significant investment. My suggestion to you IF you are planning to go to this shop would be to not know anything. The guys I approached and then later even the ones I didn’t approach knew exactly what I did and didn’t want and joined in to argue with me as if we were sitting in a pub. I fealt like it was more important to them to beat me in this absurd argument (which they initiated in suggesting my choices are poor) than to acknowledge the facts about the items (which I later realised they did not even understand..?). I knew more about the items than they did just from reading online? This is not why I went to the shop. I was really surprised. One would expect that they would be experts. Anyway – they were rude and uninterested in selling me the specific product I wanted so I eventually left. What is it with some outfitter shop salesmen in this country?
I was upset and ready for the same when I drove to another big prominent outfitter a few minutes further up the highway but to my relief these guys were neutral, friendly and actually wanted to sell me the item!

EDIT – after reading some of the other comments made here I can confirm that one of the guys was the old man which many others have complained about.
