We reserved and paid online through Agoda for a two-night stay to secure accommodation and avoid any unforeseen issues. Unfortunately, we weren’t informed about the reception closing, and the booking confirmation lacked a warning that check-in was unavailable after 9 pm. Our flight landed at 9:35 pm, and upon reaching the guesthouse, no one was present to assist us despite attempts to contact them. Stranded until midnight, we had to find alternative lodging, incurring additional costs. Thankfully, a nearby lodge was still open. Besides this significant inconvenience, the Waterkloof apartments appeared tidy but seemed unused for a while, with beds lacking freshness and being rather dusty. Helen, however, proved to be quite helpful. I am giving only 2 star for location because none of the Uber or Bolt drivers could find the place, one of us had to take a walk to Albert street and guide the driver to the place
