I haven’t eaten at Debonairs in years, mainly because they got too expensive and other places had nicer pizzas. Today a friend gave me a Vodapay voucher to be used at Debonairs, so I decided to give them a try. What a mistake!! The staff refused to accept the voucher (despite the Vodapay SMS containing the voucher code clearly saying it can be used in-store) and I was forced to download the Debonairs app, place the order on the app and then use the voucher. All while standing 20cms away from a till with a staff member. Sadly, the “pizza” was then also a let down. They tasted like badly baked frozen pizzas, and had so much sauce on, that none of the other ingredients could be tasted. I definitely remember why I stopped buying from Debonairs, and won’t make that mistake again!
