Yes, 7 courses and the buffet is well stocked. You just need to take your own drinks with. I would recommend this experience highly. Don't fill up on the bread.

We were placed at table 1 next to the the toilets. Strong urine smell. On request the owner moved us to another table. The plastic chairs were rather flimsy and folded in under my weight
I fell, not nice.
The bread and mussels were fantastic and deserved a 5 star.
The snoek was a total failure. Seems like it was cooked in water and not done over a fire. 2 stars only.
The fish potjie was the worst I ever had. Even the fish in the pot was tasteless and saltless. The few shrimps lacked salt, garlic, and lemon taste. When we got to the pot, the so-called prawn tails were nowhere to be seen. I asked a waiter to bring some more upon which he grabbed the spoon, started to scratch in the pot, and after a while, he found a small shrimp. He triomfantically held it up, shouted enough prawns, and left.
The calamari strips were tough.
I give that pot 0 zero stars.
The veggies and other main dish food was ok and yummy.
The fruit followed. Watermelon was ok. The cantelope was not ripe. Nobody ate theirs.
Overall, the idea and concept is ok for an open fire seafood restaurant in Harties but sadly not near West Coast style or quality. Compared to the West Coast Muisbos, de vette mossel needs to be revisited by West Coast specialists and set things right.
R350 can be better spent at many other eateries.

What an absolute gem of a find! We found this restaurant completely by accident and we will definitely be back! What a super fun environment! The restaurant is so laid back where you take off your shoes and let your feet cool in the sand while mussels and THE freshest farm bread is brought to your table. You can either bring your own cooler box with drinks and pay a small corkage fee or buy from their bar that is so fairly priced. The next course was snoek on the bone and sweet potato. Delicious! The bell rings and the owner then announces the next course of a seafood potjie with rice, fresh salad and hot veg with a light cheese sauce . And if you are not into seafood, the next course is a beef potjie with rice , veg and salad. We were also shown fresh watermelon and cantaloupe for dessert. A great way to end off the meal. All this for only R350 per head!! Yes, we eat off paper plates and you walk to the bar all of about 30 meters away, but what a vibe guys! We loved it!
