Location not as nice as it use to be. Don’t feel safe to walk around at night anymore. ???? Hotel has stayed the same for as long as I can remember, and the standard has dropped from its former glory. The food is not bad at Hatfield and the staff are very pleasant and helpful. For the price you cannot complain, good value for money. Pool could do with a little more attention and so could the shower heads in the rooms. Overall I enjoyed my stay.

Lunch time during the week – very quiet. Lunch not that great. Did not have mince for bolognaise, did not have the beer draft. Green salad not great – they had to look for vinegar and the avocado also not that ripe. My friend also did not finish his food – had too many carrots.

If you want any form of decent sleep after a day of business, stay away from this hotel. A nightclub from hell is 50m down the road and doesn’t shut up until very, very late. It’s unbelievable that this is allowed at all….you can hear this club blocks away. City Lodge…why don’t you do something??

Nice hotel. Strategically located in the centre of the city. Nearby happening places and shopping centre. The nearby bars can be loud at night. But if you don’t might noise much. That much not be a problem. The staff are friendly and helpful especially at the restaurant. It would be nice if the management begun improving the TV’s and a few aging things. Otherwise the beds are super comfy.
