Fabulous Lodge!!
This was our second time staying at Ciara Lodge. This year we stayed 9 nights and again absolutely loved our stay!! The lodge area is very safe, secure and centrally located. The chalets are beautifully decorated, very clean and with comfortable beds (often king size). We LOVED that the lodge had a refreshing pool. The owners, Piet and Caroline, were so kind, welcoming and flexible especially as our flight back to Canada was delayed. We would highly recommend the Ciara Lodge for a relaxing and enjoyable stay!

My wife and I were in Pretoria for a week and stayed in the Karoo suite (main floor BR, loft sleeping area, full-service kitchen, sitting area, patio, separate gate). The hosts were by far the best hosts we have ever encountered at a lodge/bed&breakfast/inn kind of place and went over and above all expectations during our stay. The staff was friendly, efficient, and helpful. The accommodations were very comfortable, pleasant, and relaxing. The location was very convenient for us and the nights quiet and restful. The food was very good and more than ample (we ordered dinners from them, but self-catered breakfast and lunch). Everything worked as expected/desired. If we ever get back to Pretoria, this is the place we want to stay. We highly recommend Ciara Lodge to you (be sure to visit the wildlife park outside of town, too, if you have any free time while in town.)

The place is beautiful and would be great to visit during warm season. We went there with my friends and the room had no aircon or heater to keep warm, it was cold. Apparently, we had to hire it from reception, ata cost. Nonetheless it’s a beautiful lodge and the staff is very friendly. I rated it a 3 on service because there was no hot water in our bathroom. There might have been a fault somewhere, but we had to make a plan so that we could bath.
