On the 23rd of April, we will be celebrating World Book and Copyright Day, a day to promote the enjoyment of books and reading. Few things can stimulate the mind and imagination as well as reading does.
I can remember when friends and family told me that reading books like Harry Potter and Twilight was actually better than going to see the movies based on these books. When you find a certain genre you like, whether fiction, horror, thrillers, romance, etc., it can be extremely rewarding to immerse yourself in reading the book and let your imagination run free.
To help you do this, we will look at some of the best places in Pretoria for book lovers and give you some guidance on where to find the perfect book for celebrating World Book Day.
Exclusive Books
There can be no denying that Exclusive Books is a fantastic place for book lovers to visit for an extremely wide variety of genres. Even if you do not really do a lot of reading, just being inside one of their many outlets across Pretoria makes you feel welcome and has a tranquil, warm, and calming ambience.
With stores in Montana, Menlyn, Brooklyn, Woodlands, Centurion, and even some airports, there is no reason not to pop in, sit in one of their cozy chairs, and page through a book. Some stores even have a coffee shop! They have an online store, and you can also find out more about them on Instagram or Facebook. Also, make sure to have a look at their events calendar, which is full of lovely events for all the current and future book lovers among us.
