I’m still indifferent whether it is worth the price. Location is perfect. Close to shopping centres and restaurants but far away to be out of city life. Very close to Soulstice day spa, Fernhaven and Roastmasters coffee roastery – all places that I would highly recommend. Area is beautiful and well kept. There is little pockets in the garden whereto you can escape. Nice and tranquil with lovely ducks roaming around. Very nice pool area and kids play area. Staff is friendly. Rooms are well kept and clean and there is daily room service. However attention to detail is a bit lacking. The kettle was very dirty, cups had dust on, toothpaste marks of previous tenants on bedbase, not sure if tap water is drinkable since it had a lot of sediment in and tasted like iron, and other small issues. The Bistro’s food is good and breakfast is included in the stay. With regards to the service however, I noticed that if I did not specify that I did not want any extras (salmon, chicken etc.) they would add it automatically or if I did not specify cup size they automatically bring largest. It happened with everything (clear given) instruction/ order – I don’t appreciate this sort of confrontation: either the waiter is bad at taking instructions or he is taking chances. I feel that alcohol is a bit overpriced in comparison with other restaurants.
