Spend 67 Minutes Helping Animals This Mandela Day

Looking for a meaningful way to celebrate Mandela Day? Head to Wollies Animal Shelter in Hesteapark on Saturday, 18 July 2026 and spend your 67 minutes making a difference in the lives of rescued animals.

Visitors can join a shelter dog walk, help clean animal enclosures, or donate much-needed dog and cat food to support the shelter. There will also be delicious food, sweet treats and refreshments on sale throughout the day, making it a fun outing for the whole family while supporting a great cause.
