Weekend Winter Festival at Casablanca Manor

Wrap up warm and enjoy a weekend of delicious food, live entertainment and family fun at the Weekend Winter Festival at Casablanca Manor on 1 and 2 August 2026.

Hosted in support of the Down Syndrome Association Pretoria, the festival offers two unique days of entertainment, competitions and countryside charm.

On Saturday, 1 August, visitors can watch talented teams compete in the popular Potjiekos Competition, judged by actress Lizz Meiring and a panel of industry chefs. Your ticket includes a potjiekos meal with sides, while you can also browse food and craft stalls, enjoy live music, KWV tastings, a children's play area and a Suzuki display.

On Sunday, 2 August, the spotlight shifts to the Cake Competition, where spectacular wedding, birthday and celebration cakes will be judged by industry experts. Visitors can enjoy live music, including a performance by Cordelia, browse the market stalls, take part in KWV tastings and enjoy a chicken braai meal with sides.

Set in the peaceful countryside of Donkerhoek, the Weekend Winter Festival is the perfect opportunity to spend quality time with family and friends while supporting a meaningful local cause. Camping chairs are encouraged, and refreshments will be available to purchase on site.
