Tshwane Festival of Yoga

The Tshwane Festival of Yoga returns for its fourth edition, bringing a full day of movement, mindfulness, wellness, and community to the University of Pretoria’s Future Africa Campus.

Whether you are an experienced yogi or completely new to the practice, the festival offers sessions for different interests and ability levels. The programme covers styles including Hatha, Vinyasa, Yin, Budokon, Vedic Yoga, and 5D Flow, alongside Qigong, breathwork, meditation, immersive sound healing, Hotpod sessions, and laughter yoga.

Visitors can also try Cardio Dance Evolution, Nia dancing, ecstatic dance, and group drumming. Health and wellness talks will add an educational side to the programme, while professional instructors will be on hand to guide participants through the different sessions.

Between classes, browse the holistic market for handmade jewellery, eco-friendly clothing, organic teas, essential oils, crystals, wellness products, and nourishing food and refreshments.

Each adult ticket includes unlimited access to the day’s scheduled classes, an official festival T-shirt, a wellness goodie bag, water, and secure parking. Children under 12 enter free when accompanied by an adult, although their admission excludes the standard T-shirt and goodie bag.
