The Picnic Club Spring Picnic

Spring arrives in Irene with a full day of live music, outdoor food, family entertainment, shopping, and rugby at The Picnic Club’s Spring Picnic. Taking place on the lawns of Smuts House, the festival brings together a proudly local line-up featuring Jack Parow, Koos Kombuis, Loufi, Synth Peter, Maeztro, Jaakie, Lungelo Moyo, BCOM, and Michael Lesar.

Between performances, visitors can browse the thrift market, explore brand activations, and choose from a curated selection of street food, sweet treats, craft beverages, wine, cider, and cocktails. The Springboks’ match against the All Blacks will also be shown live on a large outdoor screen, with Braai Boy snack boxes available to pre-order alongside tickets.

Children are welcome, and those under 12 enter free when accompanied by an adult. Take along a picnic blanket, sunscreen, a hat, and sunglasses, but leave food, drinks, glass bottles, large umbrellas, gazebos, braais, pets, and outside sound systems at home.
