Houghton Bonsai, Succulent & Plant Show 2026

Looking for the ultimate weekend day trip south of the Jacaranda City? Killarney Mall in Johannesburg is hosting South Africa’s premier botanical spectacle from 30 October to 1 November 2026. Located right off the Riviera Road exit on the M1 highway, it is a smooth, direct 40-minute drive down the N1 South from Pretoria.

Now in its fourth year, this award-winning plant extravaganza features nearly 60 expert growers, exhibitors, and vendors, making it the show's biggest line-up to date. Whether you are a dedicated collector, a lover of rare succulents and orchids, or simply looking for a fun, free family day out, this event is well worth the quick road trip from Pretoria.
