Galpalooza 2026

Celebrate Women's Day with an incredible showcase of South Africa's female-led music and creativity at Galpalooza 2026. Returning for its fourth edition on Sunday, 9 August 2026, this unique one-day festival takes over multiple venues across the country, with several events happening in and around Pretoria.

What to expect

Galpalooza honours the talented women shaping South Africa's music and creative industries through a day packed with female-fronted live performances, art, and community experiences. While the festival is organised by women and celebrates women in the creative space, everyone is welcome to attend. 

Pretoria festivalgoers can choose from a variety of experiences, including:

• A ticketed live music event at Railways Cafe in Irene
• Free performances at Busstop7 Open Air Market
• Live entertainment at Padlangs Restaurant & Bar
• Music and drumming at Klitsgras Drumming in Tierpoort
