Festival of Motoring 2026

The Festival of Motoring returns to Kyalami for 3 days of high-performance vehicles, track action, automotive innovation, and family entertainment.

About Festival of Motoring 2026

The Festival of Motoring returns to Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit for three days of high-performance vehicles, track action, automotive innovation, and family entertainment. Now in its ninth edition, the event brings more than 100 exhibitors and over 25 automotive brands together at one of South Africa’s most famous racing venues.

Visitors can browse new vehicle launches, custom builds, motoring products, services, and lifestyle displays before getting closer to the action on the circuit. Complimentary passenger rides with participating manufacturers can be booked at the pit areas, while additional paid experiences include hot laps, drifting, karting, and other adrenaline-fuelled activities.

The festival’s four colour-coded zones make it easier to plan the day. The Green Zone forms the main hub, with motorsport displays, car clubs, and circuit experiences. The Blue Zone is dedicated to guided 4×4 passenger rides, while the Yellow Zone includes the handling track, selected self-drive opportunities, and drifting displays. The Red Zone brings together food, entertainment, and social areas away from the engines.

A valid driving licence is required for self-drive sessions, and participants must complete a breathalyser test. Certain track activities carry height, age, weather, and availability restrictions, so book early and confirm the requirements before joining a queue.

Kyalami sits between Pretoria and Johannesburg, making the festival a straightforward drive down the N1 for Pretoria motoring fans. Parking at Kyalami is limited. A complimentary park-and-ride service runs from Mall of Africa, with shuttle collection points at entrances 6 and 8. Use the promotional code FOM26 through the Admyt app to access free parking at the mall.
