Electra Mining Africa 2026

Electra Mining Africa returns to the Johannesburg Expo Centre for five days of machinery, technology, specialist knowledge, and industry networking. Intended primarily for professionals working across mining, manufacturing, engineering, electrical, power, automation, and transport, the biennial trade show brings more than 1,000 exhibitors and major industry suppliers together in one extensive exhibition.

Visitors can see working equipment and live product demonstrations, explore the expanded outdoor Orange Zone, attend free technical seminars, and watch the popular Forklift Driver Competition. The SAIMechE Skills & Career Hub will focus on professional development, education, and future career pathways, while each day carries a different theme, ranging from automation and digital technology to sustainability, energy, and women in mining and engineering.

Standard visitor registration is free and includes access to all exhibition halls, live demonstrations, seminars, and themed activities. A Diamond Select upgrade is also available for visitors wanting priority entry, VIP lounge access, refreshments, Wi-Fi, workspaces, and dedicated transport from FNB Stadium. Attendance is intended for industry professionals, while students in relevant fields may apply through an accredited institution for prior approval.
