Book Launch: Kitsie by Steven Kitshoff and Michael Vlismas

Pretoria’s Springbok fans can join Steven “Kitsie” Kitshoff and sports journalist Michael Vlismas at Exclusive Books Menlyn for the launch of Kitsie: Memoir of a Bomb-Squad Bok.

In conversation with Vlismas, the two-time Rugby World Cup winner will take readers behind the jersey, sharing stories from his journey from Western Cape schoolboy rugby to Stormers captain and one of the Springboks’ most recognisable Bomb Squad members.

The memoir goes beyond the bruising scrums and famous victories to explore the discipline, sacrifice, and teamwork that shaped Kitshoff’s career. It also examines the Bomb Squad strategy, his forced retirement following a serious neck injury, and the challenge of finding a new sense of purpose beyond professional rugby.
