Africa Aerospace and Defence Expo 2026

Africa Aerospace and Defence returns to Air Force Base Waterkloof from Wednesday, 16 September to Sunday, 20 September 2026, bringing an impressive programme of aerospace technology, live demonstrations, and family activities to Pretoria.

The trade exhibition runs from 16 to 18 September and is restricted to registered industry visitors and media. The general public can attend on Saturday, 19 September and Sunday, 20 September, when aircraft take to the sky for two full public air-show days.

Visitors can expect aerobatic displays, parachute drops, helicopter demonstrations, static aircraft exhibitions, and military vehicles tackling the mobility track. Young aviation fans can also explore the Youth Pavilion, which offers activities such as flight simulators, model building, virtual aviation, first aid, and target shooting.

Camping chairs, picnic baskets, and soft-sided coolers are permitted. Visitors may not bring glass containers, alcohol, gazebos, umbrellas, braais, pets, weapons, or laser devices. Food stalls and a beer garden will be available at the venue.
