Sci-Enza Fossils Holiday Programme
Calling all budding palaeontologists! The University of Pretoria's Sci-Enza Science Centre is inviting curious young minds to dig into the fascinating world of fossils, rocks and prehistoric life during its winter school holiday programme. This holiday's theme, Fossils, offers children the opportunity to explore real fossil science through a range of hands-on activities, interactive investigations and expert-led sessions. From fossil detectives and dino tracking to mould making, amber time capsules and even virtual reality dinosaur explorations, there's plenty to keep little scientists engaged. The programme is designed to spark curiosity and encourage discovery while making science both accessible and fun. Grade R to 3 learners can join the three-day programme from 29 June to 1 July 2026, while learners in Grades 4 to 6 can take part in the two-day programme running from 2 to 3 July 2026. Activities take place daily from 09:00 to 13:00 at the Sci-Enza Science Centre on the University of Pretoria's Hatfield Campus, with drop-off available from 08:15.

Total Ninja Holiday Club
If you're looking for an active and engaging holiday programme, the Total Ninja Holiday Club promises plenty of action, creativity and fun during the winter school holidays. Children can put their skills to the test with obstacle courses, balance challenges, strength circuits and Ninja skill drills, all while being guided by experienced coaches in a safe and supervised environment.
