What Is the Outdoor & Adventure Expo?
The Outdoor & Adventure Expo was born in Grabouw, Western Cape in 2023 and expanded to Broederstroom in 2024. The Gauteng edition has rapidly grown into the must-attend outdoor event for residents across Pretoria, Centurion, and the wider Tshwane region. Positioned right on the border of Gauteng and North West, the venue sits at the end of a scenic country drive along the R3/R400 connecting Hartebeespoort Dam with Maropeng, the Cradle of Humankind World Heritage Site.
This is not your average trade show. The expo takes place on an active 1,200-hectare game and cattle breeding farm, so you are surrounded by indigenous bushveld, free-roaming wildlife, breath-taking landscapes, and majestic sunsets from the moment you arrive. The organisers describe it as "the purest outdoor and lifestyle expo," and it is difficult to argue otherwise.

The Outdoor & Adventure Expo Broederstroom 2026 takes place over the weekend of Friday 14 to Sunday 16 August 2026. It is a full three-day event, and with camping available on site, there is every reason to make it a proper long weekend getaway from Pretoria.

4x4 Action and Off-Road Driving
For Pretoria's sizeable community of 4x4 enthusiasts, this section alone is worth the drive. A purpose-built demonstration track sits within the vehicle exhibitor area, and a fully marshalled 4x4 obstacle course is open for self-drive visitors to tackle in their own vehicles. The Off-Road Marshal Unit of South Africa guides drivers through the course, and both novices and seasoned off-road drivers have come away buzzing. It is a hands-on, adrenalin-fuelled experience you will not find at any other expo in the country.

Hiking and Mountain Bike Trails at B'Sorah
One of the things that sets this expo apart from every other outdoor event in South Africa is that the adventure spills well beyond the exhibitor stands. B'Sorah Trails offers hiking routes of various distances up to 18km and mountain bike trails up to 36km across multiple grades of difficulty. The terrain covers bushveld, indigenous forest, rocky outcrops, ravines, and a tranquil river with a beautiful natural swimming spot. You can genuinely spend the entire weekend exploring.

At the heart of the expo sits a fantastic food and drinks zone with a variety of food carts, craft beer on tap, a beer tent, and artisan vendors. After a morning on the trails or an afternoon of shopping, there is no better way to wind down than with a cold craft beer in hand, surrounded by trees and bushveld. Cuisine for the soul, as the organisers put it. The beer tent will also be broadcasting the Bulls vs All Blacks rugby match live, so you can catch all the action on the big screen while soaking up the bushveld atmosphere. The Outdoor & Adventure Expo Broederstroom is believed to be the only dog-on-lead-friendly expo in South Africa. Your dog is welcome on the trails, in the exhibitor areas, and throughout the weekend. Camp for the Full Weekend
There is no need to rush back to the city. Bring your own camping gear and spend all three nights at B'Sorah, waking up to birdsong and fresh bushveld air. The Venue: B'Sorah Beit Avinu Centre, Broederstroom
The expo is held at the B'Sorah Beit Avinu Centre on the R3/R400, a scenic road linking Hartebeespoort Dam with Maropeng. For Pretoria residents, it sits just 20km from the end of the N4 heading towards Harties, making it one of the most convenient major outdoor events on the Gauteng calendar.

The venue itself is a stunning 1,200-hectare game and cattle breeding farm. The expo layout flows from the elegant Beit Avinu Centre hall through shaded grassed areas lined with large trees, out to a vast open sports ground accommodating larger exhibitors, vehicles, the caravan section, and the purpose-built 4x4 track. It is a setting unlike any expo venue you have visited before.
