The new year is the perfect time to try something different. In Pretoria, kids have access to a plethora of science-themed experiences that make learning fun, interactive and hands-on. Of course, these activities also help children develop confidence, problem-solving skills and creative thinking.
Hands-On Science Adventures in Pretoria: Why Starting Early Matters
Science experiences allow kids to explore and learn while often boosting their academic skills without them even noticing. They see the results of experiments, learn to tackle challenges and discover that mistakes form part of the learning process. Many activities involve group work, helping children to develop teamwork and communication skills.
Starting these experiences early sheds light on the fun side of science and when kids encounter similar themes and topics at school, it will feel familiar and exciting rather than intimidating. From experiments to robotics, science experiences make learning hands-on and enjoyable.
We’ve handpicked a variety of science-themed experiences in Pretoria: from science centres and weekly classes to holiday workshops for children of all ages.
