Families and their four-legged friends are invited to put on their running shoes for a worthy cause by Centurion Lifestyle Centre! The Race for a Good Paws, which will support Woodrock Animal Rescue on Saturday, 29 March 2025, promises to be an exciting morning where charity and fitness collide.
A Fun Event For All
Participants at Race For A Good Paws, a community-driven race that emphasises the value of animal welfare, invites walkers, runners, fur-parents, and their fur babies of all ages. Every action taken contributes to the care and shelter of animals in need, with all proceeds going to Woodrock Animal Rescue.
Centurion Lifestyle Centre will host the race. Registration will open at 6:00 am, and the race will begin at 7:00 am.
Entrance is R50 per person, but children under 10 enter free of charge if they donate nonperishable pet food to Woodrock Animal Rescue.
The race will start at the shopping centre across from the Family Pet Centre, offering a friendly area for all walkers and runners to congregate and start their walk.
The Race for a Good Paws, organised in association with Woodrock Animal Rescue, Run Walk for Life, and Family Pet Centre, is intended to be a fur-tastic family event. This race is all about community, compassion, and fun, whether you're racing through the course with your dog or taking a leisurely walk with loved ones.
To honour their service to a deserving cause, the top finishers will each receive a medal. Quicket is where you can purchase your tickets.
