The Village – Hazelwood
The Village is one of Pretoria’s favourite and trendiest places to hang out at the moment. It seems we are finally escaping the closed atmosphere of malls and shopping centres in favour of a more open-plan dining experience. The Village is a couple of blocks filled with restaurants and cafés, like Culture Club, Alfies and Cowfish. You certainly won’t be starved for choice and are bound to find a place that delights you.
Arguably one of the best things about The Village is how easy and comfortable it is to walk the streets between restaurants – it really gives you an ‘out-of-Pretoria’ feel. The fairy lights give the area a fantastic kind of atmosphere, and it does wonders to foster a romantic feel as you stroll along the numerous restaurants before finding a place to settle for dinner.
