Top Tequila Spots In Pretoria

We’re not children anymore. So, when life gives us lemons… good old tequila comes out to play. A night out on the town with friends just doesn’t seem complete without breaking out the salt and lemon. Sometimes, the best evenings smell like tequila, a smidgen of regret and a time well spent. Are you looking for a new twist on your classic tequila? We’ve found some spots in Pretoria where you can get great tequila.

Salsa Libre Tex Mex Bar and Grill

Salsa Libre certainly doesn’t skimp on variety when it comes to tequila choices. Now you may be thinking, "How much variety can tequila really offer?" Well, we’re sure you won’t be disappointed. They stock some of our classic favourites – Jose Cuervo, El Jimador, and Don Julio. But in a world where craft seems to be king, what makes Salsa Libre so special is their list of craft tequilas. You’ll have a choice of Watermelon & Chilli, Pineapple & Mango, Ginger, Kiwi and Di’s Mini Margarita. Word on the street is that they have another dozen flavours in the works. We’ve been told that these exciting options are all crafted with love and Jose Cuervo, so you’ll be in good hands.

You won’t be starved for choice here, as they serve margaritas, sangria and everything in between. If you’re more of a shot kind of patron, they’ve got you covered. They offer a bunch of tequilas – ranging from good old Jose, to Don Julio, Herrandura and Patron. The serve a variety of resposado tequila too, which refers to aged tequilas. Sounds fancy, no?
