Doppio Zero's 2017 Fresh Menu Is Off The Charts

Each spring, Doppio Zero launches its Fresh Menu to lure foodies in with delicious and healthy breakfast, lunch and dinner deals. Here's what you can expect from the 2017 menu.

Busting in with a pretty little spring body is Doppio Zero's Fresh Menu for 2017. But before we spill the beans, let's take a step back and tell you all about the origins of Doppio Zero's Fresh Menu. A couple of spring seasons back, the board of directors at Doppio Zero asked Chef Cassie Davis to construct a menu that was healthy yet delicious, and fresh yet filling. Since then, the restaurant has revitalised this concept each September.

This year, it's all about whole foods, colourful dishes and juices. The intention to 'eat better' is the first step in a healthier you. Knowing what that means, however, can be challenging. Fear not, the Doppio Zero Fresh Menu is all you need to get you kicking and dancing like a new you. Well, we all know following a healthy diet includes choosing plenty of lean proteins, vegetables, fruit, whole grains and dairy products but eating well is a whole new ball game. It's about leaving out, or only rarely consuming, foods that are high in added sugar, saturated fat and sodium. That includes most fast food and restaurant dishes... Sorry, dear reader, that means you need to put that cupcake down already.

When it comes to healthy living, Doppio Zero’s Fresh Campaign that runs from 6 September until 15 October circles around promoting healthy food options. The campaign also coincides with Doppio Zero's new menu, which is sprinkled with delicious dishes that make it a cinch to eat nutritious meals. The Doppio Zero Fresh Menu boasts dishes such as fresh salmon poke bowls, lettuce wraps served with chicken and roast veggies in a tasty salsa sauce, green curry chicken, falafels, and turmeric scramble.

Doppio Zero is encouraging healthy choices on the drinks front too, with a startlingly good value, freshly squeezed juice of the day, which you can also taste free of charge as a sample shot before you commit to ordering a whole glass. Depending on the day, this might include beetroot and apple with apple cider vinegar and cayenne, or carrot, celery, pineapple and ginger. A shot a day will keep the doctor away... Yeah, we went there.

All in all, the Doppio Zero Fresh menu is a rockstar of a menu. Go out and try it. It's most certainly the tastiest way to get the good stuff in.
