A Bite To Eat And A Bit Of Zen At Good Stuff Café

If you’re looking for a lekker brekkie or a laid-back lunch spot that offers decent coffee, make your way down to the end of Garsfontein Road to Good Stuff Café. Nestled between the trees and tranquillity of Cape Connection Centre, you’ll leave this charming little café with a full tummy and a Zen spirit.

Good Stuff Café is nestled between trees and water features in the calm Cape Connection Centre. The minimalist décor, friendly staff and breezy setup create a calm and inviting café ambience. With plenty of Pinterest-inspired potted plants scattered all around, and abundant open-air seating, you can naturally destress while having a bite to eat. The Good Stuff menu and surroundings are pretty similar – simple, quaint and creative.

The breakfast menu offers the usual light selections, with some original names, like The Popeye (poached eggs with baby spinach) and Gone Fishing (anchovy toast with cherry tomatoes). If you need a big-boy breakfast, The Big Deal includes two eggs, honey-kissed bacon, pork sausage, black mushrooms, grilled cherry tomatoes, filter coffee and a gluten-free toast option. The menu also includes stuffed croissants: whether you choose the Farmhouse (with a typical English bacon and egg filling), Beachhouse (salmon with dill cream cheese, capers and cucumber) or Townhouse (served with cheese and preserves), you’re pretty much guaranteed a flaky fresh and filling meal.

Good Stuff Café’s lunch menu offers wraps, salads and sandwiches. The So Good sandwich is filled with rib-eye steak, red onion, pear relish, rocket, tomato and Gorgonozla and lives up to its name. The Guru sandwich caters for vegetarians with a delicious mushroom, aubergine, feta, sundried tomato, baby spinach and caramelised onion filling.

Good Stuff Café was born as a natural addition to So Smoothies, a genuine fruit smoothie company. It’s no wonder then that the smoothie options are fabulously healthy and you can opt to add a scoop of whey protein to your order. Except for a pretty decent cappuccino, Good Stuff Café also makes a Milktart Latte that is thoroughly enjoyable. If you’re not in the mood for the hot drink, opt for a slice of the freshly made tart or the mouthwateringly moist carrot cake.

Good Stuff Café is open weekdays from 07:30 to 16:30 and Saturday from 08:00 to 15:00.
