Rosemary Hill Farm High tea at Rosemary Hill Farm is an exceptional experience. Rozenhof Tea Garden Rozenhof Tea Garden in situated in the beautifully manicured gardens of the four-star Rozenhof Guesthouse. The serenity and sophistication of this venue makes for a fabulous high tea setting. The Tea for Two at Rozenhof costs R160 and includes scones, sandwiches, biscuits and cake, served with a choice between filter coffee and a range of teas.

Rozenhof can also design a custom high tea menu suited to your specific occasion and budget. Rozenhof Tea Garden is a wheelchair friendly venue, and is open Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 16:00. Special arrangements can be made for weekend high teas.

The Sheraton Pretoria

High tea at the Sheraton Pretoria Hotel promises to be a tasty affair. When making your booking, at least 24 hours in advance, you are requested to select three items from each of the three high tea menus. The sweet treats menu includes items such as homemade marshmallows, Rice Crispy treats and mini tiramisu cups, paired with a selection of fruit teas. The savoury menu, paired with green teas, includes biltong and avocado blinis, finger sandwiches and baked Camembert and fig parcels. The pastry menu offers treats like Hertzoggies, milk tart and custard slices that are paired with black teas.

High tea at the Sheraton is served outside on the terrace, overlooking the Union Buildings, costs R195 per person and is available from 10:30 daily.

Kieviets Kroon For a five-star high tea experience amid beautiful country estate surroundings, opt for Kieviets Kroon. The estate’s mouthwatering high tea menu includes scones and preserves with a selection of four items from both the sweet and savoury menus. Some of the savoury selections are smoked salmon mini bagels, egg mayo mini croissants, Parma ham and melon breadsticks and asparagus and Parmesan quiche. Selections for the sweet menu include triple chocolate mousse, mini crème brûlées and an assortment of macaroons, to name just a few.

High tea at Kieviets Kroon is served between 10:00 and 15:00 on the Manor House terrace, under the pool pergola or on the lawn, and is charged at R195 per person. Advance bookings are recommended.

Manhattan Hotel If you have a group of girlfriends who’d like to join you, high tea at the Manhattan Hotel is a great way to spend an afternoon. The hotel caters high tea for groups of 10 or more in one of its stylish venues.

High tea at the Manhattan Hotel costs R120 per person and includes freshly brewed coffee, Ceylon tea and a choice of seven snacks from an extensive sweet and savoury menu.
