The purpose of showcasing the specific wines below was to highlight the difference between Rhône style blends, Bordeaux style blends & Cape style blends. These blends have to always have some or all of the grapes mentioned below to qualify as the specific style:
- Rhône style red blend - Syrah, Viognier, Roussane, Marsanne
- Bordeaux style red blend - Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Petit Verdot, Malbec
- Cape red blend - Pinotage, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc

Paired with kingklip poached in a Chinese stock & wrapped in prosciutto on a bed of orange and lime segments drizzled with almonds.
Goats do Roam Red 2014 Varieties: Shiraz 62%, Mourvedre 14%, Grenache 11%, Durif 9%, Cinsaut 2%, Carignan 2% - Rhône red blend Goats do Roam Wine
Paired with bella tomato smoked in sugar & spice, stuffed with chopped walnuts, almonds and drizzled with a honey syrup.
Dragon Tree Varieties: 32% Cabernet Sauvignon, 27% Shiraz, 25% Pinotage, 8% Merlot, 4% Cab Franc, 4% Touriga Nacional / Tinta Barocca / Barbera - Cape red blend DragonTree
Welgemeend Douelle Varieties: Cabernet Sauvignon 52%, Mellot 22%, Cabernet Franc 14%, Malbec 12% - Bordeaux red blend Welgemeend Wine Estate
Paired with braised beef shin infused with the warm spices of winter, bone marrow filed with rich deboned oxtail served with a vanilla mash and finished with cherry jus.
White & dark chocolate mousse, nutella soil, lemon curd and a mixed berry coulis.
